  1. From Seoul to the Sea

The guide was outstanding — respectful, fun, full of stories and made everyone feel at home.

The meals were more than just “included”-type; they were opportunities to try regional specialties and local flavors.

Accommodations were consistently impressive — fresh, comfortable, well-placed.

The pace hit a sweet spot: enough happening each day to feel like you’re exploring, but not so much you’re burnt out.

The “outside Seoul” parts were the highlight — for me, the seaside days and historic towns gave a different rhythm to the trip.

In the end, I left with more than photos — I left with memories of real moments: chatting with locals, savoring unexpected dishes, quietly watching a temple at dusk. If you’re an American traveller who wants a rich, well-organised 7-day introduction to Korea (beyond just the top city sights), this tour is a very smart choice.

  2. well-organised

I recently had the pleasure of joining the “Discover Korea 7-Day Nationwide Tour” with Hanatour ITC, and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment we departed Seoul to the final evening back in the city, the tour was flawlessly organized and truly immersive. Our accommodations were consistently at high-quality 4- to 5-star hotels, the meals were delicious and thoughtfully chosen, and our guide was both professional and friendly, ensuring we felt comfortable and engaged throughout. I especially appreciated the balance of major sightseeing spots — historic temples, seaside views, vibrant city districts — and meaningful cultural experiences, like the tea-plantation visit and traditional snack-making. The tour schedule allowed enough time to relax and soak in each place, rather than rushing through.

What stood out most was how smoothly everything ran: comfortable transportation, English-speaking support where needed, and no unnecessary “shopping stop” pressure (which I much appreciated). For an American traveller looking to explore the breadth of Korea in one week with minimal hassle, this tour offers excellent value and experience.

if you’re looking for a well-organised, engaging, and authentic 7-day journey through Korea, I wholeheartedly recommend this package with Hanatour ITC.

  3. Korea in Seven

Our guide, Mark was incredible. He not only knew all the historical facts, but he also had genuine passion for sharing Korean culture — whether it was teaching us how to use chopsticks properly, showing us hidden gem street food spots, or explaining the meaning behind subtle traditions like bowing or tea rituals. The food was a big highlight. Every meal felt like an adventure — spicy stews, fresh seafood, sweet rice cakes, kimchi with so many varieties. I’m still dreaming about the bibimbap in Jeonju. Most importantly, the people I met made it so much richer — fellow travelers, locals, shopkeepers, musicians. I felt welcomed everywhere. I left not just with photos, but with new friends and stories I’ll carry forever. If you’re on the fence about this tour, do it. It’s worth every moment.

  4. Highly recommended

I just wrapped up the 7-Day Discover Korea tour with HanaTour, and it was honestly one of the best travel decisions I’ve made. From the moment we touched down in Seoul to the serene beaches of Busan, every day was a new highlight.

Our guide Mark was fantastic — extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and always made sure everyone was comfortable. He had a great way of explaining Korean history and culture in a way that was both interesting and easy to understand.

The itinerary was just right — not too rushed, but packed with a variety of experiences: ancient temples, traditional hanok villages, lush mountains in Seoraksan, cultural crafts, and delicious regional foods. Each meal was a chance to try something truly authentic.

Accommodations were excellent: clean, comfortable hotels, often with beautiful views, and reliable service. The transport between sites was smooth and well-organized.

If you’re short on time but want to experience “real Korea” — beyond just Seoul — this tour delivers. I made great friends , saw places I never even knew existed, and left with memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommended!

  5. 7‑day Discover Round Korea tour

We just completed the 7‑day Discover Round Korea tour with HanaTour ITC and it was an unforgettable journey from vibrant Seoul to serene Busan, via Gyeongju, Seoraksan, and more. Our guide, Jay was outstanding—deeply knowledgeable, engaging, and warm; fellow travelers described him as “very knowledgeable and entertaining”

The itinerary struck a perfect balance between history, nature, and culture: we wandered through ancient temples, royal tombs, and hanok villages; enjoyed the majestic views atop Seoraksan; strolled through green tea plantations; and experienced traditional hanji paper-making

Meals were one of the trip’s highlights—each day featured fresh, regional specialties, hearty vegetable-rich side dishes, and lavish hotel breakfast buffets described by guests as “delicious, healthy, plentiful”

Accommodations exceeded expectations, with 4–5 star hotels throughout—including a stunning beachfront stay at the Grand Josun in Busan. There were no surprises in quality; what was promised was delivered .

Transportation logistics were flawless—a modern coach and expert driver kept us comfortable, with manageable travel times (often just 45–60 minutes between sites) so we weren’t stuck on the road.
