Tourist Attractions

Seongsan Ilchulbong

Tuff Cone rose 180 meters above sea level due to a magma flow under the sea over 5,000 years ago. It was originally a separate island, but a build-up of sand and soil has connected it to the main island. A large crater, formed by the hot lava mixing with cold ocean water, is located at the top of Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone. The crater is about 600 meters in diameter and 90 meters deep. It has been featured in films, and was originally used for agriculture, but has now been given over to a field of silver grass. From the summit, visitors can see Udo Island, as well as take in the magnificent sunrise. The tuff cone area was designated as a natural reserve on July 19, 2000.

Concluding our activities, we’ll be checking in at our Seogwipo hotel for an overnight stay.

  1. Unforgettable Two-Week Tour of Korea

Every single day of this trip brought something new. it was a truly refreshing and unforgettable experience.

This tour is a fantastic way to see almost every corner of Korea in just about two weeks.

Although I had previously served in Korea with the 210th FAB in Dongducheon, I didn’t get the chance to travel much back then.

Now, decades later, I was finally able to explore Korea properly and it was absolutely amazing.

The country has changed so much since my time here, and I was fascinated by how much there is to see and do.

The tour covers all the highlights, including Seoul, the DMZ, Busan, and even a full trip around Jeju Island.

Comfortable hotels and transportation made the long journey easy and enjoyable.

I’m not sure if I’ll have the chance to come back again, but I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in discovering Korea.

Thank you, Hanatour Team, for this incredible experience!

  2. 16 Days Exploring Korea & Jeju

Embarking on the "Check-in Korea with Jeju Island in 16 Days tour was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we landed in Incheon, the journey was seamless and enriching.

Our guides, in Jeju and Mark on the mainland, were exceptional. Their deep knowledge and passion for Korea's history and culture brought each destination to life. They ensured every detail was taken care of, making us feel welcomed and well-informed throughout the trip.

The accommodations exceeded expectations, offering comfort and luxury after each day's adventures. Meals were a delightful exploration of Korean cuisine, with each dish thoughtfully selected to showcase regional flavors.

Highlights included visiting UNESCO World Heritage sites, participating in traditional experiences like wearing hanbok and making local snacks, and enjoying the serene beauty of Jeju Island. The itinerary was well-paced, balancing sightseeing with moments of relaxation.

This tour provided a comprehensive and immersive look into Korea's rich heritage and modern vibrancy. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic and well-curated Korean adventure.

  3. Amazing Korea Tour with HanaTour

After we booked, HanaTour sent us a well-organized 16-day itinerary, which made everything so easy!

I wanted to spend a few extra days in Seoul, and they kindly helped arrange the additional nights super convenient.

Our guide, Mark, always welcomed us with a smile and shared so many interesting stories and facts about Korean history and culture. He also took great care with our meals.

As a vegan, I was a bit worried at first, but they prepared a nice variety of dishes for me. I really appreciated.

It was my second time in Seoul but my first time visiting Jeju Island and wow, it was stunning! Two nights and three days just didn’t feel long enough to explore everything.

Our Jeju guide, David, was amazing. Since he lives on the island, he had tons of great local tips and restaurant recommendations.

The one day tours included in the itinerary were all memorable, and every hotel we stayed in was clean and comfortable I could really relax and unwind after busy days.

Already counting down the days until I can visit Korea again and join another HanaTour trip! 감사합니다.

  4. Amazing Experience

I had an amazing and very satisfying 16 days tour. Despite being made up of different tours, the entire trip was incredibly well-organized, and everything ran smoothly and on time.

The real highlights were the fantastic tour guides and the delicious, authentic meals. David in Jeju was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, always eager to share interesting stories and local insights. Mr. Mark on the 7day Korea tour was also fantastic he made the trip enjoyable, seamless, and fun.

This fast-paced tour is a great way to experience the diversity and beauty of Korea in a relatively short time. I especially loved Busan its vibrant atmosphere and stunning coastal views left a lasting impression. I definitely hope to return soon to explore more of this beautiful country and its rich culture.
